The Cathedral of our lady in Antwerp, celebrated it’s 500th birthday during the first weekend of September. As a photographer I just love night photography and even more if it’s at a light art festival. In the last year I’ve been to only 2. Glow in Eindhoven, which is my favorite and a smaller one in our capital, Brussels. I was actually pleasantly surprised from the Brussels one. I was driving with my MINI on the left bank of the river Schelde, when I saw the beautiful sky over Antwerp. I decided to pull over and take my Fuji X-M1 out for a walk and a quick shot of the Antwerp skyline. It turned out quite OK.
